giggle Walnut Creek welcomes a specialized play group targeted at promoting signing with young children. This play group has been hugely successful during the past few weeks that we’re starting to offer this free event twice a week now. A certified teacher who has been working with children for many years takes a lead in the play group to help children learn to sign. These unique classes are designed to help expecting mothers and mothers to exercise on a daily basis even when their caring for little ones. The courses will help prepare pregnant mothers for labor and will also decrease recovery time. It will also present mothers with physical expectations and challenges of parenting. Finally it will combat baby blues and jump start weight loss after baby is born. Lastly, its a great way to meet other mothers in the community. I just wanted to take a few moments to share some enthusiasm that was expressed to me by one of our clients recently. She raved such greatness about the Oakland Zoo. Such an affordable and great activity for kids locally. Nowadays, we’re filled with media of the latest gadget or blockbuster films and sometimes we forget to enjoy much simplier things in life, such as animals at the zoo.
The Oakland Zoo has served the local community since 1922. With such amazing and detailed areas as the Africian Savannah focusing on Tigers and Lions and the Rainforest with a yellow Anaconda and blue Macaws, children will be filled with so much knowledge and excitement. The Zoo also has feeding sessions with Elephants, Giraffes, and Otters. So next time you want to fill your day with some basic, not too expensive fun, please support our local Oakland Zoo, just a 20 minutes drive from our Walnut Creek location.

If you haven’t heard of the Eebee, well, then you’re missing out. They’re like the modern teddy bear yet so much better. Accompanied by DVDs, they’re so interactive, great, soft, plushy…and a kid’s favorite! We always have parents rushing in for a new Eebee because they’re little ones are so attached…and if they go missing, it’s just bad news! They also come in muppets and attached with letters.
